The Queensland Government has recently announced that it will provide $5,000 payments to small and medium businesses across Queensland affected by the current COVID-19 lockdown (from 31 July 2021) and lockdowns in other states. This grant may be used for business expenses and cash flow support to help businesses adapt to evolving circumstances.

𝑬𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒂

Your business needs to meet the following criteria to be eligible:

turnover of at least $75,000
annual payroll in QLD of up to $10 million
30% decline in turnover

Your business doesn't have to be located in South East Queensland, but you must satisfy the decline in turnover criteria to be eligible.

Applications are expected to open in mid-August and should be made online along with your supporting evidence.
